Real yoga for your real life. In-studio and online classes.

Modern postural yoga informed by ancient wisdom. Skip the bells and whistles and get straight to that sweet spot of strength and calm.

All in-studio classes are held in The Co-Op at Sky, a new concept space for yoga. This is a space for independent yoga teachers to simply teach yoga. Expect over the next months to see other teachers, some you may know, some you may not, join the cooperative. My goal is to cultivate a space for experienced teachers and to mentor some emerging teachers all of whom, like me, feel called to this work. We will be sharing the costs and labor of keeping the space, but will each be running our independent teaching businesses.

Thank you for being a part of this emerging community!

YOGA NIDRA
$0.00

Yoga Nidra, often called yogic sleep, is a guided meditation practice that takes you into a state between wakefulness and sleep—deeply restful, yet still aware. Especially helpful after a long day or on days when you want the grounding effects of yoga without exertion, Yoga Nidra offers a doorway into the quieter, subtler layers of yoga and is a wonderful compliment to the physical asana practice or other exercise that you may do regularly. You lie down comfortably or relax in your favorite recliner while I guide you through a structured journey of relaxation. Studies have shown Yoga Nidra provides deep physical and mental relaxation, lowers stress and improves sleep quality, increases self-awareness and emotional balance, supports injury recovery, and reduces pain, fatigue, and burnout. Expect systematic body scanning to release physical tension, breath awareness to settle the nervous system, visualization and guided imagery to help the mind unwind, personal intention (Sankalpa) to support emotional or personal growth in every session.

1st Thursday of every month (except holidays, then 2nd Thursday), 7:00-8:00pm, live stream on Zoom.
